This is a unique, one of a kind, vine twisted, Beech wood Staff, with a dark purple, Brazilian Amethyst point, set within the staff and genuine leather tassels incorporating a Cock tail feather and hand made copper spiral beads and wooden beads.
The wood of this staff has a rare, natural vine twist, which lends so much character and energy to this one of a kind tool for Spiritual and personal empowerment.

The natural twists in this Beech wood staff, are formed by Honeysuckle vines growing up the branch, which follow the movement of the sun from east to west twining around the branch influencing the growth of the tree into the twist formation.

In British folklore and Druid tradition, Beech is thought of as The Mother of the Woods. Beech is also known as the Beech Queen who’s consort is the Oak King.
Beech was used as a good luck charm, and pieces of it were thought to bring good fortune to the wearer as Beech is known for her generosity of spirit, with her canopy giving shelter and protection while her nuts give nourishment.
Beech is linked with time, wisdom and knowledge but especially written wisdom, as the Beech was used in thin slices to write upon and form the very first books.
Henwen, the great white ancient sow, was said to possess great wisdom from eating nuts from the sacred Beech tree which for Druids symbolised ancient knowledge.

Set within this staff is a beautiful deep purple Brazilian Amethyst point.
Amethyst has properties, such as balancing, harmonising, spiritual awareness.

The Beech wood for this staff has been ecologically sourced, in a magical woodland, on the banks of the river Wye, here in the ancient shires of Mid Wales.

It is superbly finished to a very high standard, sanded glass smooth with several coats of finishing oil.
